Foods for a Better Memory

Are you lately forgetting things? There are some foods that can help you to have a better memory. Try to not forget them!

1. Chocolate

If you are eating chocolate (especially dark chocolate) except from the pleasure, you also improve your blood flow to the brain and perform better on memory tests. Just eat a little piece and the flavonoids and antioxidants should do the rest.

7. Chewing Gum

Chewing gum helps us focus on tasks that require continuous monitoring over a longer amount of time. So the next time you have a study to do or a difficult day in work start chewing your gum.

8. Red wine

Studies have shown that people who consume moderate amounts of red wine and other types of alcohol may be at reduced risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

9. Grapes and peanuts

An antioxidant called resveratrol in grapes and peanuts helps prevent age-related decline in memory.

10. Spinach and broccoli

Leafy greens contain antioxidants and they are also loaded with a significant amount of folate. Studies have shown that foods rich in folate improve memory by decreasing inflammation and improving blood flow to the brain.
