Jello: Your New Anti-Ageing Secret

by Niki Kefala

I love eating fruit jello all time of the year and especially in a hot day in the summer. This colorful, transparent dessert has many benefits for your health and makes you look gorgeous and attractive. First of all you can have a perfect skin, with elasticity and no wrinkles, because jello is a good source of dietary collagen, a basic ingredient in many beauty products. So next time you need a face cream, go to supermarket!

The collagen in jello helps reduce cellulite, an issue that troubles many women in this period of time. But now you know the secret! Eat jello. The choice of color is yours of course!

This super dessert is full in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium which helps you having strong and healthy hair, teeth, bones and nails and supports muscle formation especially after an injury. In addition jello helps people who want to loose weight, because contains proteins and never makes you feel hungry.

People suffering from arthritis and osteoporosis, must put jello in their diet because contains chondroitin, a compound that is a major constituent of cartilage and other connective tissue and therefore beneficial for the joints. Also jello and gelatin in general (is a natural protein collagen that is derived from the bones, skin, joints and collagen of animals) calms the body and balances cortisol levels.

It’s a great source of a wide range of amino acids. Due to the amino acid glycine for example, can help calm nerves and anxiety and gives you a good night’s sleep.

And what about celebrities? Kelly Osbourne eats everyday, for an afternoon snack, a sugar free jello.

You need more reasons to eat this super food? I really don’t think so…
