Ok, we know that a woollen coat can warm you up, a comfortable blanket can do it too, also the exercise of… any type. What about raisins? The famous couple of Beyonce and Jay Z includes raisins on their plant-based diet because of their many benefits and also because is a food that can actually warm you up during the cold winters. Raisins as dried grapes are rich and concentrated sources of energy, vitamins, electrolytes like potassium, anti-oxidant and minerals like calcium (important for the bone health), manganese, fluoride, and zinc. They are free of gluten toxin and can be consumed by people who do not tolerate gluten as an alternative healthy food.
